The Download Manager, the core of the DIC, can now sort its listing, and you can categorize downloads according to your whims and wishes. Categories help you classify what you download, and together with sorting will make staying organized a lot easier. Since this also means a change to your database, we strongl urge you to read the New DIC Features section in full.
Appart from a few minor bug fixes, we have also added full folder restoration for the unlikely - but possible - event that a BSC DAT-Packer operation fails. Full details are available from the New DIC Features section
For a complete history of the various updates and feature list, please turn to the DIC History page. |

Although it is not yet a true exchange site (you still cannot upload to it directly), we have taken the first steps towards a new and independent download site for SimCity 4 fans.
As it begins, there aresome major mods from the Sydney garage of Rivit available: his massive Railway Upgrade, for one, plus several others.
WorkingMan Productions has also taken its first tenative steps into the creation of custom content by releasing its first set of WPM Causeway pieces, as well as a revised version of gerAndi's Berlin Friedrichstrasse 1 lot.
More content will be added soon, we hear... |

Now that the DIC has come of age and includes all the features that made the SC4 Organizer so successful, there really is no need for the older, and less updated SC4 Organizer.
It was of course, The Organizer, which started this entire SC4 Tools ball rolling back in 2007. Four years and some 8,000++ downloads later we now have a full suite of tools for the avid SimCity 4 player.
Naturally we will continue to support everyone who continues to use the SC4 Organizer, and any residual bugs will be fixed and made available here. |
